I think cocorosie, deerhunter, Beirut, Kurt vile, devendra banhart, ratatat, girls, and tobacco are wonderful/not given enough credit
I know most of these bands are pretty well-liked among tumblr but I think they’re a lot better than that
again my opinion!!!

I think the reason I don’t really like those bands is because they fall under a certain category/genre that I’m just not very fond of
